The Massive Cost of Space Exploration

I think Space Exploration is worth the cost. In the first place the average person benefits many ways from the technology developed for the space program. This technology probably keeps more of us alive than we realize. Who really knows if space exploration will produce anything usefull. We have really only been doing this for 50 years. That's a pretty small amount of time in history terms. It's very possible a great discovery may come from it, perhaps an energy source, who knows.
